Somehow sometimes and way too often servers (any, not just raptor) isnt showing up as they should in the ingame server browser, or with the steam server browser.
A server starts up, loads the gamedata, does its things and once its ready it will contact the Steam master servers and tell its online.
From there on, the steam updates their master lists of servers thats currently online and when a player requests that list they should get a fresh list.
However for some unknown reason the player doesnt always get all server names or a really fresh list. Whatever causes this is unclear but it affects many games not just ARK.
This is another reason why one should use “Favourites” in Steam browser or ingame, and add the servers manually to the favourite list. Even better, take note of the server IPs with pen & paper.
Heres the method to manually add Raptor.nu servers :
In Steam window, upper left menu choose “VIEW” , click on “SERVERS”.
A new “Server” window opens with tabs “Internet / Favorites / History / Spectate / Lan / Friends”.
First select game type “ARK: Survival Evolved”. Make sure “Is not password protected” is ticked (None of the raptors.nu servers is), this shortens the search a bit.
Press “Refresh All” and wait, this might take a good while until the list is fully populated.
Browse the list and see if servers is there, if so add to favorites.
If not, manually add them this way :
They should now be listed as in image below :
