Back in time the vikings built longhouses to live in, to have their animals in, as storage and what not.
Inspired by the viking design method, which is very fitting for ARK. A new community – longhouse where raised at latitude 69, long 42 which is next to the navigation tower at ” raptor lake “.
The idea behind this longhouse is to have a supply and workstation center for the players in this region. It has to be community driven by trust, so everyone has to pitch in and fill up with resources as much as possible. If everyone atleast put back few more than they take out, it will be running fine.
Got some spare time, want to earn some easy XP to level your character ? Spend it in the supply house, make a couple of sets of cloth armor or maybe some metal ingots. Use the resources, put the results back in the appropriate lockers. This way you get XP and level up, and someone else can find a cloth set when they need one.
The building itself, just like the navigation tower is buildt in west <-> east direction with opening on both sides of the longhouse so sunlight will easily light up the building as much as possible.
Symetric design with torches lighting up the sides. Two is accessible from the lower ramps, upper one accessible by climbing the ladder at one of the ends, and then follow the roof to the edges.
Please resupply with wood and keep the torches burning for easier night navigation.
Inside contains dual of everything. Smithy, forges, cooking pots, mortar, campfire.
The east end of the building have a ramp, which below hit have 4 fridges to store narcoberries (to make your narcotics etc). Again please resupply with sparkpowder to keep these running.
Lockers have color & text to easier organize the content. Basicly color is as equal to color of the resource as possible, so flint would be orange, crystals would be white etc locker.
Opposite side again. Same principle with organizing the lockers, colored by content. First group contains cloth, next is hide, third is chitin armor. Followed by misc weapons, tools etc lockers. Finally at the end is bookshelves.
