RAPTOR.NU gaming community servers is located in southern Norway on a low latency gigabit fiber connection.
Community consists of mature people age 30+ in most cases (admin closer to 50, oldest on server 70+).
Our goal is for everyone to have fun, have a laugh, and enjoy the currently interesting games in a mature, respectful and helpful community.
Server(s) is run as a non profit environment but is accepting and is partially sponsored.
Gifts donated will be used as prizes for players at random times.
In such cases sponsor & admin sets the rules for competitions or similar.
ARK : Survival Evolved.
ARK for short, is under development under the “early access” label on Steam.
Being in early access it means game will have bugs, lack content, crash or be in worst case scenario server will be down temporarily.
ARK devs have so far done a great job at updating the game, often with 4-6 daily updates. Not always as scheduled but they patch and add content far more often than most game companies do.
So please, annoying at it can be at times when things dont work as expected, keep in mind the game isnt done and bugs and “murphys law” -will happen-.
Take it as a good sport, enjoy it, spread the positive vibes.
Game server is run on dedicated hardware, dual Xeon 3,2Ghz Quadcore hardware.
Any updates and-or restarts will as far as possible be warned ingame ahead of time, alternatively done in periods where theres no one on the server. If dino taming is in progress and theres on critical reason to patch/restart then we wait until taming is done of course.
Usually admin is online from 12:00 – 24:00 (GMT+1, Oslo – Norway)
